Al Pacino’s Daughter Arrested for DUI

These days, society is used to seeing celebrities swarm the headlines with arrests involving alcohol or drugs. But celebrities themselves are not the only ones who can suffer from having a life in the spotlight. Julie Pacino, daughter of actor Al Pacino, was recently arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

At only 21 years old, Julie is now facing DWI charges that could negatively impact her career and life overall. Officers, who arrested her at an alcohol checkpoint in New York, claimed she had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. She even admitted to having a few beers and smoking marijuana before getting behind the wheel of her car. Driving under the influence does not mean just alcohol, you can be charged for driving under the influence of drugs as well.

Julie’s blood alcohol level was well over the legal limit when she was taken into custody and her father reportedly rushed to her side once he learned of her arrest. She was later let go on her own recognizance, but now she must face legal issues involving her drinking and driving. Julie is an aspiring film director who hoped to gain her own fame and fortune in life, but having a problem with alcohol seems to now be slowing her down.

Through an alcohol treatment center, Julie would be able to get the help she needs in order to overcome an addiction to alcohol. When a person is suffering from the disease of addiction, they can end up over-dosing, run into trouble with law enforcement, or even worse, dead. It is never a good idea to abuse alcohol or drugs and then decide to get behind the wheel. These tragic mistakes can lead to hurting oneself or others.

By attending an alcohol treatment center, a person can change their life for the better and become free of abusing substances so that they do not suffer the same legal consequences as Julie and others who find themselves in this predicament.
