Ed and Barbara Curran
Owners and Cofounders of Vista Taos Renewal Center
Beginning with a dream to have a small intensive alcohol and drug treatment program, Ed and Barbara planned and built Vista Taos Renewal Center over 15 years ago. The small intimate, 14-bed capacity rehabilitation program is located on the Mesa with a panoramic view of the Taos Mountains from every room. Their dream of promoting a comfortable, safe environment where patients can allow themselves to trust and work through the many issues that have devastated their lives is personified by the home-style environment of Vista Taos Renewal Center. Ed has been an Alcohol/Drug counselor for over 26 years. He is a graduate of Rutgers University Alcohol Studies in New Jersey and has been trained and worked with some of the leaders in the chemical dependency field. He was a guest therapist on the Montel Williams Show and has done numerous radio talk shows in Taos, Albuquerque and Connecticut. Ed and Barbara take a personal and active interest in the patients and the everyday routine of Vista Taos Renewal Center.
