  Preparing For Your Stay at Vista Taos Primary Care
  What to bring: bring casual clothing; tennis or running shoes and a one piece swim suit (to be utilized in the hot tub), and workout clothes. In the winter, bring clothing that layers; a warm outer layer, a sweater or middle layer, and comfortable shirts for a final layer. It is always cool at night in the winter and in summer spring and fall it is warm to hot during the day. Laundry facilities are available and laundry supplies are provided.
  Pack a 30-day supply of personal items like shampoo, toothpaste, razors and hairdryer. If you use prescription medications, please bring a 30-day supply in the original labeled container. Do not bring over the counter medications, herbal remedies, vitamins, cellphones, computers, pagers, radios, CD players, CD's or other electronics or valuables.  Smokers need to bring enough cigarettes for their 30-day stay.
   
  Incidental Monies:  Clients should have monies available for services such as dental or medical needs. Safe keeping of money, passports, and airline tickets is available.  Please Note: We cannot accept responsibility for personal property such as jewelry, CD's, cell phones, camera's or other valuables. 
   
  Visitors: Family members are welcome to visit on Sundays and Holidays with the primary therapist's approval from 1pm to 5pm (after the patient has been here for one week).
   
  Mail: You may send and receive mail, although packages must be opened and inspected in the presence of a staff member. It is advisable to bring a supply of stamps, and stationery.
   
  Phone: You may make 4 personal calls a week (time limit of 10 minutes each call) after the therapeutic activities are concluded (from 4:30pm to 10:30pm). We do not accept incoming calls for patients, as this could result in a breech of confidentiality Federal Law CFR, Part 2-B. In the event of a family emergency, a message may be left at (800)- 245-8267. Bring a phone card or credit card to pay for calls.
   
  Patient Terminated Service:  In the event the patient leaves the treatment prior to the end of their 30-day stay, or their agreed upon length of stay, our perdiem service rate schedule will be applied. Each individual's cost may vary.
