Feel": Our model confronts maladaptive
patterns of thinking and behaving while honoring the difficult journey of recovery. Through a process of education,
experiential therapy, psychodrama, family sculpting, and community
support, our patients are guided in their behaviors to relinquish the
use of compulsive medicators( alcohol, other drugs, sex, gambling, food,
etc.) The path of recovery is one of self responsibility and the
goals include increased effectiveness in major life skills. |

Primary Treatment - Breaking Painful
Cycles: Respecting the specific needs of our
patients, the clinical team develops and implements individualized
treatment plans. With the powerful dynamics of a group setting we
address such critical issues as chemical dependence, co-dependence,
childhood trauma, and depression. Utilizing a variety of
educational and experiential techniques, group process, and 12 step
orientation, patients actively participate in a meaningful comprehensive
treatment experience. |

Family Week - A Collective Investment:
This essential treatment component greatly
impacts patients progress and prognosis for success and provides an
opportunity for family members to gain insight and healing for
themselves. Family members participate and work on core issues,
communication, boundaries, forgiveness, and reconciliation. We
encourage all family members to come to Vista Taos Renewal Center for
this healing experience. |

Extended Care - Stable Integration:
The
extended care program puts the emphasis on continued healing, stabilization
and additional opportunities for patients to receive the same
exceptional, individualized care for which Vista Taos Renewal Center is
