What to Expect

The Admissions Process begins with a phone call to  1-877-772-2616 or by completing the online form below.   Our professional admission counselors are committed to helping you and your family to take the first steps on the path to recovery.

Once your call or completed admissions inquiry form is received, a Vista Taos Admissions Counselor will begin to work with you on a free, brief and confidential telephone assessment including the current situation that prompted your inquiry, treatment history, and any other critical information to assist in determining whether this is the right treatment option for you.  If it is determined that you would benefit from treatment, payment arrangements will be discussed prior to admission.

Once you arrive…

You will meet with our Administrative Director to complete your admission paperwork and you will meet with the physician, nurse and your counselors.  You will participate in group treatment as part of your treatment program.  Our extensive experience of treating addictions has proven that group process will accelerate your healing process.  And, many times patients find that they make incredible bonds with others in the group.  There are various aspects to the treatment program that will be discussed with you in detail once your individualized treatment plan is completed.

All sleeping rooms are semi-private with a private bathroom and an exterior door to a private patio area.  Massages, yoga, meditation, acupuncture and exercise facility are available to all patients.

At Vista Taos, our holistic treatment process not only addresses the physical aspects of rehab but also the emotional and spiritual elements that are so critical to healing the whole person.  Our treatment programs often include discussions about spirituality versus religion, therapeutic projects, art therapy, family treatment and educational lectures.  All are provided with the goal of helping you change in consciousness and giving you a new perspective of the world.  One that is healthy, happy and focused on positive energy.
