Seeking Help for Yourself
Deciding whether or not to pursue addiction treatment is your decision. It’s important that you feel comfortable in your decision in order to support successful addiction recovery.
There are many reasons you may be seeking help. Perhaps your family or employer is placing pressure on you to get treatment. Perhaps you have been court-ordered after getting into some type of trouble. Or maybe, you are just ready to regain control of your life.
Whatever the case, you need to be prepared for changes. Some will feel good. Some will be uncomfortable. And some will start out feeling bad, only to later be one of the best things you ever did for yourself.
It’s Your Time
Your wellness journey will begin with a telephone interview conducted by one of our Vista Taos professionals. This call begins the process of developing your individualized treatment plan, giving you the best opportunity for recovery.
Our treatment programs are group oriented. While it may be uncomfortable at first, our extensive experience has proven that the group approach provides the most opportunity for growth. An added benefit of the group process is the opportunity to build significant bonds with other people in your group. And you will find the family program week very beneficial as it begins the healing process within your family relationships. .
Choosing treatment means your daily routines will change. There will be structure and new rules. Rules that are there for your safety and also to help you live in a community in a healthier way. You will find that these rules give you tools to manage your life.
Your time at Vista Taos will be focused on healing – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In addition to participating in treatment programs, you will have opportunities to explore wellness through yoga, meditation, therapeutic projects, art therapy, and enlightening discussions on spirituality. You will emerge with a new-found view of life, and the possibilities for your life ahead
