PRIMARY THERAPIST/ 12 STEP COUNSELOR

As the Primary Therapist / 12 Step Counselor you will be a key member of a treatment team that offers a wide range of treatment and rehabilitative services.  You should be familiar with a 12 Step model of treatment and family treatment.  Job responsibilities include:

  • Completing the bio-psycho-social-spiritual history and summary evaluation
  • Carrying a clinical caseload not to exceed 8 clients
  • Taking an active role in being a participatory member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Providing direct individual, group and family therapy; didactic lectures and experiential group processes
  • Assuring that all elements of the treatment plan, including the continuing care, and aftercare plan is realized within the necessary time limits
  • Completing discharge summaries on assigned clients within necessary time limits
  • Maintaining appropriate rapport with additional service providers

The ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree, be licensed in New Mexico (LADAC), have a minimum of 5 years related experience preferably as a Counselor in a residential or inpatient facility using a 12 Step model, experience working with dual disordered clients, excellent communication skills and the highest level of energy, honesty and integrity.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE

The Community Relations Representative will be responsible for development and successful implementation of a strategic sales and marketing plan, raising brand awareness, and enhancing the regional and national presence of Vista Taos Renewal Center.  In summary, the successful candidate will:

  • Conduct individual contacts with existing and potential referral sources
  • Develop and implement communication, community relations and marketing support programs
  • Champion the effort to educate the state and regional marketplace regarding the Center’s service offerings
  • Work closely with Intake to coordinate referrals
  • Represent Vista Taos at state, regional and national conferences
  • Assist with Alumni Relations Program coordination and events

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in marketing/sales and or the addictions field and possess excellent collaboration, communication, presentation, and marketing analysis and reporting skills; proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and familiarity with contact-tracking databases.  Ability to travel is required.
